Transmigration Macabre" is Ravi Shankar's most psychedelic album; the dreamlike quality of the album is extraordinary and the beauty and sensitivity of the instrument playing out of this world . Track 6 (5:00) "Death" a lot more frantic than I would have imagined, maybe its life flashing before one's eyes, who knows? Quite a hypnotic base drum with speed sitar, Ravi's peaking here. Track 7 (2:08) "Transmigration" More traditional raga styled number. Track 8 (2:11) "Retribution" Trippy, is that a harp or a Sarod?
