I'm the original bitch, I'm the original whore I'm the girl that you just won't admit you adore (I know, I know you love me) I'm the original witch, I'm the original whore I'm the girl that you just won't admit you adore. How kind of you to offer what you think A woman should do or say Maybe, if you weren't so self-righteous You would not have such a hard time getting laid. Bitch was released by Esthero in 2004; the song found her returning to her trip-hop roots. It became her biggest hit, going to on the US Dance Club Songs chart and ending up the 8th-most-popular Dance Club song of 2004. The song is her only chart-topper to date, and only one of two songs to chart in the US, the other being Fastlane.

Esthero (/ɛˈstɛroʊ/ es-THERE-oh; born Jenny-Bea Englishman on December 23, 1978 in Stratford, Ontario), is a Canadian singer-songwriter who currently lives in Los Angeles, California. The name Esthero refers both to the singer and formerly to the two-person team of herself and producer Doc McKinney

Esthero's single (og. bitch) is a edgy and moody song that is well produced. The remixes are ok, the best is the Speakeasy - which best compliments her voice and still pays homage to the original withough laying some hard beats over it & calling it a day. I love you is one soulful song. This is worth it, even with some dismal remixes sprinkled around some good cuts. Once Nelly's debut album was actually released, the Esthero track was removed and replaced with "Well, Well. If you listen closely, . Bitch is Eerily similar to Nelly's song Party, from Whoa, Nelly! I personally think that if Nelly's fans (at that time) had gotten wind of Esthero, that would have certainly taken away some of Nelly's shine. This song in it's original version sounds very jazz influenced and vocally comes across as Nelly Fertado like. The mixes range from electro dance to mainstream house to aggressive underground.

But if Esthero's album ambitions were repeatedly thwarted, her voice was not so easily forgotten. Those sultry, swaggering vocals claim a distinctive edge even as they fit firmly onto almost anything, be it a Concrete Blonde cover, a torch orchestra, hip-hop or dance music. Originally signed to Sony's Work Group imprint, she hopped over to Warner/Reprise in 1999 where things slowed down due to her own procrastination and record label pussyfooting.
