New York pop punkers Vacant Lot are fondly remembered by members of the pop underground despite the fact that the original group split up during the recording of 1993's Wrong, its second album. Vacant Lot starts from a place of unalloyed worship of the first four Ramones albums: one song is called "Dee Dee Said" and the album's best song, "Never Said," features singer/songwriter Pete Ciccone busting out a dead-on Joey Ramone impersonation.
