The album debuts on the Billboard 200 on March 17, reaches on April 28, and eventually logs the all-time record of 741 weeks on that chart. 5 March – Jimi Hendrix's former personal manager, Michael Jeffery, is killed in a plane crash. Jeffery was travelling from Majorca to England. 20 November – The Who open their Quadrophenia US tour with a concert at San Francisco's Cow Palace, but drummer Keith Moon passes out and has to be carried off the stage. Pete Townsend asks for a volunteer from the audience to replace Moon and gets one; nineteen-year-old fan Scot Halpin, who finishes the show. Live at the Lighthouse – Elvin Jones – Live. Live in Japan: Spring Tour 1973 – Donovan. Lonesome, On'ry and Mean – Waylon Jennings. Looking Back – Leon Russell.

Byrds is the twelfth and final studio album by the American rock band The Byrds and was released in March 1973 on Asylum Records (see 1973 in music). It was recorded as the centerpiece of a reunion between the five original members of The Byrds: Roger McGuinn, Gene Clark, David Crosby, Chris Hillman, and Michael Clarke. The last time that all five members had worked together as The Byrds was in 1966, prior to Gene Clark's departure from the band

The Who LOT LP RECORD Who’s Next Live At Leeds Who Are You By Number It’s Hard. It also happens to be one of the very best albums they produced. Rolling Stone magazine is one of those critics. The album was released on Decca in 1970, number DL 79175. This is the original release. The Who – Live at Leeds (1970) – LP – Decca DL-79175.

The Who’s time in New York City in 1968 can best be described as ‘lively’. Keith Moon’s antics with cherry bomb explosives had meant that the band had to move hotels. On the morning of the Fillmore rehearsal, the band were photographed for Life magazine by Art Kane and legend has it that they were so tired from Moon’s antics that they nodded off under the large Union Jack draped over them at the base of the Carl Schurz Monument in Morningside Park. The show is regarded by fans as something of the ‘holy grail’ of Who live shows equalling the legendary Live At Leeds album. The tapes have been meticulously remastered for optimum sound quality and will only serve to enhance The Who’s reputation as the best live act of the time.

Every page goes through several hundred of perfecting techniques; in live mode. The album debuts on the Billboard 200 on March 17, reaches on April 28, and eventually logs the all-time record of 741 weeks on that chart.

wow this is a beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is a really nice 2 cd boot of the classic philadelphia show from december 1973 that first appeared as a boot over 40 years ago on the classic tales of the who 2 lp set, here it is remastered with a bonus dvd of a gig from london back in 2006 wich was ok but i feel when packages like this are done they should keep it more to the same era rather then give us a dvd of a gig that took place 33 years after the audio cd was recorded, then we go way back on the dvd as after the roundhouse london 06 gig we go back to the mid to late 60s with all sorts of european, uk and us t.v performances wich is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i got this one a few weeks ago, this is very limited there was only 300 made and my number is # 95 and yes the discs are silver factory pressed
